Double Entry Journal #10- "Sowing the Seeds For a More Creative Society"

"We need to continually rethink our approaches to education and rethink our uses of educational
technologies. Just as students need to engage in the creative thinking spiral to prepare for the Creative Society, educators and designers must do the same."

I could not agree with this quote more.  I feel that because the world is constantly changing, teachers and learners have to change with it.  We cannot prepare for what already is today, because tomorrow, today is history.  We are constantly moving forward, so we must be willing let our strategies move forward also.

This is a gallery of Scratch projects used on Pi Day.  I think this is wonderful because when I was in middle school and celebrated Pi Day, we just made cool t-shirts, had competitions to see who could remember the most numbers, and ate Pi.  Now, just five years later, they have reached a whole new level.  It is great that they can grow with the world.
